Aishwarya keeps her birthday celebrations private
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan avoided an extravagant celebration as she turned 41 on Saturday. But a small bash for the media was organised at Janak, Bachchans' office, in Mumbai. Aishwarya avoided lavish celebrations and chose to keep it "a family affair."
Though she avoided celebrating her birthday in a big way, the Bachchans are ready to have a grand celebration for the birthday of daughter Aaradhya, who will turn three this year. "We hope to have a grand birthday celebration," confirmed Aishwarya, as she cheerfully cut the cake especially ordered for the occasion.Dressed in a formal black suit, Aishwarya looked stunning as she happily chatted about her upcoming film Jazbaa, directed by Sanjay Gupta. The film that casts Irrfan Khan and Shabana Azmi will be Aishwarya's comeback and will be shot in 2015.
"I am preparing for the film which is in the preproduction stage. We will begin shooting next year," said Aishwarya, who is lately busy raising her daughter Aradhaya.
She said that her upcoming film Jazbaa, is special because of the "unique subject" and she has appreciated the way the script has shaped up. Aishwarya was given a special gift by daughter Aaradhya, which was a birthday card made by her little daughter. Hubby Abhishek Bachchan reportedly went on an elaborate shopping for her in Dubai while promoting the film, recently.
