Aamir Khan's 'PK' controversy

Aamir Khan-starrer ‘PK’ has minted over Rs 96 crore in the first three days since its release in India and trade experts expect it do ‘steady’ business in the coming days, too.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the film released Friday.
Even as people keep thronging the cinemas to watch ‘PK’, an unseemly controversy seems to have erupted over the film and it finds itself in mired in a dispute with #BoycottPK hashtag trending on Twitter.
The film's protagonist 'PK' points out to often-strange customs that each religion is associated with. And while he takes on every prominent religion in the country - Hinduism, Islam and Christianity, some people believe that taking on Hindu godmen in the film is a direct insult to the community.
The romantic track between Anushka Sharma (Indian girl) and Sushant Singh Rajput (Pakistani boy) is also being seen as ‘promoting’ love jihad.
